Mayor Brandon Johnson and Cook County President Toni Preckwinkle gathered at the Cicero Public Library this morning to officially open the city’s largest electric vehicle charging station. The project, a cornerstone of the 2026 “Green Chicago” initiative, aims to eliminate “charging deserts” in the city’s southwest suburbs.
