Bukayo Saka has agreed a new five-year contract with Arsenal that will make him one of the highest-paid players in the club’s history. The deal, which is expected to run until 2031, significantly improves on his current contract and is believed to be worth more than £15m per season. Arsenal moved quickly to secure the future of the England international, a Hale End academy graduate, following recent long-term renewals for key players. Saka has reiterated his desire to win trophies with Arsenal and has played a vital role in their strong Premier League campaign. Manager Mikel Arteta has previously praised Saka’s commitment and importance to the squad. The new contract underlines Arsenal’s long-term vision as they look to retain their core players while competing at the top of English and European football.
